Provides in-home intervention to children and their families utilizing a skill based, solution focused model to help families adopt positive solutions to problems through the teaching of skills and behavioral techniques accessing community resources and support. LMHP, PLMHP, LADC or similar license strongly preferred. This role oversees and supports the safe and effective provision of services, ensuring adherence to policies related to safety and boundaries with service recipients. The supervisor provides ongoing supervision and education related to safety and abuse risk, and responds quickly and confidentially to reports of suspicious or inappropriate behavior, following mandated abuse reporting requirements. The position contributes to ongoing program development and assumes responsibility for the delivery of services to children and families. The supervisor will oversee Consultants in developing, monitoring, and reviewing service plans, and will supervise and assess staff problems, developing strategies to solve them. They will act as an advocate for children and families, monitor and ensure timely and appropriate record completion, and assist in screening referrals. The role involves supervising and participating in service planning reviews, progress reviews, staff meetings, and case reviews, ensuring appropriate direct contact with families and remaining available for crisis intervention. The supervisor promotes safety through ongoing training and supervision and fosters a culture of professionalism. There are opportunities to become a certified Common Sense Parenting Instructor and conduct courses, as well as provide outreach and prevention services. The role assumes supervisory and administrative responsibility for the In-Home Family Services program, including screening, hiring, training, and directing program staff, and developing career paths for Consultants. Building and maintaining relationships with community entities, governmental agencies, service providers, and consumers is key. The supervisor will develop and maintain data collection systems, implement systems to predict and prevent problems, and review individual staff data to improve efficiencies and outcomes. Compliance with contractual, regulatory, program, and accrediting body standards is essential, as is managing notifications of changes in professional status.
