About The Position

This role involves training, supervising, directing, and supporting the workforce to meet production targets. The position requires monitoring concentrator processes, optimizing operating parameters, and inspecting equipment for repair or preventative maintenance. The Supervisor will also administer the Ray Complex Safety Program, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage the labor contract, including handling employee issues such as grievances and inquiries. Additionally, the role involves providing input for timekeeping, scheduling, work orders/maintenance, and purchasing/warehouse activities.

Requirements

• Good communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel, as well as ability to utilize other software systems.
• Knowledge of MIMS software.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• High School or General Education Degree (GED)
• Five (5) years of job related experience in the milling process
• Possess a current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, direct, and support work force in their activities to ensure production targets
• Monitor the concentrator processes and optimize/determine the proper operating parameters
• Inspect the equipment to determine status for repair or PM and initiate appropriate action
• Administer Ray Complex Safety Program and insure regulatory compliance
• Administer the labor contract and handle all employee issues (grievances/inquiries, etc.)
• Provide timekeeping, scheduling, WO/maintenance and purchasing/warehouse input/work needed
