The Flowback and Workover Supervisor will oversee daily field operations for flowback and workover activities, supervising up to 10 employees and contractors. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient execution of post-completion flowback operations and well intervention projects, while optimizing well performance and minimizing downtime. The supervisor will ensure the work is planned and scheduled. The supervisor will ensure field activities are accurately documented in Wellview or applicable systems. The role is also responsible for tracking and verifying all project-related costs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of oil and gas field operations experience, including flowback, well testing, and/or remedial workover operations; supervisory experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong knowledge of well operations, pressure control, and Flowback production equipment.
  • Proven ability to lead field-based teams and deliver results safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose well performance issues and implement solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including data tracking, reporting, and documentation.
  • Ability to analyze operational data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with field reporting systems such as Maximo or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise flowback, workover team, and plugging including coordinators and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee the execution of flowback operations and workover projects from start to finish.
  • Pre project planning, scheduling, and procedure creation with production engineering teams.
  • Coordinate daily activities with Production, Completions, Drilling, and Engineering to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure proper rig-up/rig-down of flowback and workover equipment, pressure control systems, and wellsite layouts.
  • Oversee well intervention operations such as cleanouts, tubing replacements, fishing operations, and other remedial workover activities.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
  • Create, manage, and close out Salesforce work orders and ensure accurate reporting of all field activities.
  • Track and manage project costs, materials, and equipment utilization to identify gaps or supplemental funds needed.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate field personnel to ensure competency and performance standards.
  • Conduct safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations as needed.
  • Perform other supervisory and operational duties as required.
