This role involves assisting in the training and supervision of housekeeping employees. The supervisor will frequently inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, report concerns regarding general cleaning and repairs in rooms and hallways, and ensure maid carts and linen closets are presentable, neat, clean, organized, and fully stocked. The position also requires ensuring lost and found items are promptly turned in, reporting cleaning needs and maintenance problems, assigning rooms and keys to Guest Room Attendants, and maintaining accurate records. The supervisor is directly responsible for projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager and must be aware of the rules and regulations in the Local 54 contract for correct disciplinary procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
