About The Position

The House Supervisor will act as the in-house administrative representative and resource person for all patients, staff, staff physicians, and visitors. Patient Care: Works with team members to develop or improve processes to assure a remarkable patient experience. Creates and maintains a healthy work environment that results in improved patient outcomes, retention, and organizational excellence. Collaborates with physicians to develop or improve processes surrounding care of patients. Coordinates the provision of patient care through delegation, problem solving, time management and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an NLNAC accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Current RN licensure in applicable state required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required.
  • Has knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to modify care and interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care according to patient’s age, health, and developmental status.
  • Has demonstrated sound and effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, good interpersonal skills, and good intra and interdepartmental relationships.
  • May require the use of safety equipment, such as HEPA mask, for infection prevention.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Management experience preferred.

  • Works in partnership with leaders to create, support, and maintain a culture of professional accountability.
  • Partners with family and patients to resolve concerns related to the delivery of health care.
  • Assures that team members provide care that is consistent with The Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
  • May be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.
  • On call responsibilities as directed.
  • Ability to travel between campus buildings, remote facilities, and out of town as needed.

Benefits

  • The base compensation range for this role is $38.48 - $62.49 hourly.
  • Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
  • Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
