Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a human services field.
  • Supervisory certification from IDOA within 60 days of hire date.
  • Experience using and proficient in the SAMS/Sandata system.
  • Ability to attend all necessary trainings required by payor sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively listen and to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
  • Access to reliable transportation required.
  • Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Check and update HCAs’ schedule in SAMS, resolve issues related to scheduling and client concerns as well as update the manager and/or AED upon the next business day.
  • Record client hours and submit for billing in software program ensuring hours are correct.
  • Plan and implement quarterly in-service program trainings and record data in appropriate software.
  • Document client contacts and conflicts per funding requirements.
  • Perform assessments and ensure accurate documents are filed in the caregivers’ and clients’ files.
  • Provide direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for assigned staff.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
