Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Supervisor Level Healthcare Business Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on supporting margin improvement engagements through in-depth analysis of healthcare operations, supply chain, and revenue cycle management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in margin improvement initiatives within healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with healthcare data systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in mentoring junior staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of healthcare operations, supply chain, and revenue cycle metrics.
  • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for margin improvement.
  • Develop and present detailed reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and clinical staff to gather data and understand operational challenges.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss findings and recommendations.
  • Identify inefficiencies within healthcare operations and propose solutions to enhance performance.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing supply chain processes and revenue cycle management.
  • Supervise and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on analytical methods and best practices.
  • Ensure all analyses comply with regulatory and industry standards.
