Requirements
- Related university degree and seven-plus years’ experience OR nine‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
- Disciplines of Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, GIS, and Records Management preferred.
- Demonstrated strengths in leadership, contract interpretation, interpersonal relations, and written and verbal communication, along with strong project, time, and organizational management skills.
- Abilities include effective teamwork, the ability to motivate and engage employees, sound decision-making, and adaptability in managing shifting and emerging priorities.
- Proven capability to plan, schedule, and prioritize work, along with the physical ability to perform essential job functions such as walking, climbing, stooping, bending, and prolonged standing.
- Full knowledge of pipeline distribution system; construction work methods is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervises the maintenance of asset records from construction and operations, project and resource management, stakeholder involvement and monitoring of work.
- Supports reliability performance goals.
- Schedules, assigns and monitors the work of employees and / or contractors.
- Pre / post inspection of asset records, resolves design problems and material discrepancies, reviews contractor expenses to ensure accurate time and equipment charges.
- Ensures proper work methods are applied and safety precautions are followed.
- Resolves stakeholder complaints.
- Advises and assists in technical training and development of employees.
- Utilization of SAP/Maximo, GIS (ESRI), FileNet, DOT, Sharepoint, and other work management applications.
- Monitors budget goals and employee productivity.
