About The Position

The Supervisor Funding will serve as the leader for all staff maintaining the Avenue 365 Funding portfolio, regardless of the location they operate from. This Supervisor will facilitate all daily funding functions through ongoing support of the processes, promote focus on customer service and teamwork, and provide support to team members through training, prioritization of workloads, continuous Quality Control (QC) of files and work, and coverage for all operational functions as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of title/mortgage funding or financial company experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Windows based programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization and ability to work efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and multitask.
  • Ability to remain flexible with changes in schedule and workload.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will need to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have smart phones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of supervisory or office management experience preferred.
  • 1 + years of experience using ResWare preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee staff to ensure production accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching as necessary.
  • Facilitate employee performance reviews & assessments.
  • Conduct interviews, oversee new hire onboarding & training.
  • Review & decision all Funding Dept. PTO requests.
  • Field escalations and questions from the team across all Funding functions.
  • Daily supervision of assigned Funding processes, adhering to client and/or regulatory deadlines and reporting requirements, as well as industry best practices.
  • Preparing files for funding.
  • Setting up and/or releasing wires for disbursement.
  • Printing checks.
  • Mailing out payments.
  • Handling daily deposit or remittance corrections.
  • Work with vendors/attorneys/partners to facilitate the timely funding of loans.
  • Identify and resolve any funding discrepancies, shortages, or errors immediately.
  • Assist with file balances and stale checks.
  • Review exception reporting and proactively communicate any delays or issues to customers.
  • Maintain compliance on wire and check policies.
  • Provide excellent and courteous customer service to buyers/borrowers, sellers, lenders, agents, vendors and other customers on every transaction.
  • Maintain correspondence with clients and/or borrowers for corrections, voids, reissues, etc., as needed.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
