Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Three years work experience in a hospital dietary department.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Food Safety Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Valid California Driver's License required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have two (2) years of continuous driving experience in the state of California.
• If a license is suspended, the experience record begins from the time of license reinstatement.
• Must have no major convictions (ie DUI/DWI, hit and run, driving w/suspended license, reckless driving, eluding police, open containers, exhibition of speed (racing), negligent driving).
• Must have no more than one (1) moving citation in a three (3) year period.
• Must have no more than one (1) at-fault accident in a three (3) year period.
• Accidents will be considered at-fault unless evidence is provided (ie police report and/or letter from insurance company) showing the incident as not at-fault.

Nice To Haves

• experience in working with modified diets or chef experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, schedules and coordinates the work activities of all kitchen employees in preparing and dispensing of food for hospitalized patients, staff and visitors.
