About The Position

As the Supervisor of Food and Nutrition Services, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations within patient food services, ensuring both workflow efficiency and exceptional service delivery. This leadership role involves supervising team members, maintaining high standards, and supporting financial and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree required; four (4) years of directly related experience may substitute for the degree
  • Must have a valid Food Manager Certification from a Florida Department of Health-approved provider, or ServSafe Certification from the National Restaurant Association (ANSI-CFP accredited)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or group lead experience in Food and Nutrition

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and supervise patient food service operations to ensure timely and high-quality service
  • Conduct daily rounds and respond promptly and effectively to customer requests
  • Ensure adequate staffing and supply levels to meet service standards
  • Maintain professional conduct and appearance among team members
  • Assist department managers in managing expenses and achieving financial goals
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports and productivity data
  • Lead by example in promoting ORMC’s values, culture, and commitment to outstanding patient experience
