About The Position

What Facilities Management contributes to Cardinal Health: Facilities & Real Estate plans and directs facility maintenance and food services as well as real estate activities including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and property development. Facilities Management ensures the reliable operation of the organization's facilities. This job family refurbishes and performs preventative maintenance and repairs to company facilities, which include electric maintenance, mechanics, carpentry and masonry, and equipment installation. This job family may also manage contractors that provide facility maintenance services. Shift Details: (Shift may vary based on business and site needs) Core Business Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (or until task complete) Weekends as needed Overnight hours as needed Application window anticipated to close: 4/10/2026 if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff
  • Administers and exercises policies and procedures
  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines
  • Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers
  • Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels
  • Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day to day operation and direction of Maintenance personnel
  • Work timely addressing all production and facility related issues
  • Managing the CMMS system in the implementation and completion of all PM, CM, EM etc work
  • Administrative responsibility in addressing all supervisory needs relating to employees
  • Managing operations to meet facility operation goals and budgets.
