Department: Public Works/Facilities Grade: 190 Salary :$25.11/hour Job Duties: R esponsible for providing administrative oversight for the administrative portion of assigned department; tracking expenditures of the office and making necessary budget adjustments; submitting time sheets on behalf of administrative personnel. Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable; prepares contracts, purchase orders; and responsible for purchasing. Supervises the work of all administrative personnel; provides work direction, planning and supervision of office staff; establishes policies and procedures; instructs and trains in correct methods of administrative duties; checks and approves work, reviews, and evaluates employee performance. Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university or four years of experience in accounting, budget preparation, or administration. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Depending on the needs of the assigned department, certification as a Notary Clerk may be required.
  • Must submit to/pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
