Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university or four years of experience in accounting, budget preparation, or administration. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Depending on the needs of the assigned department, certification as a Notary Clerk may be required.
  • Must submit to/pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing administrative oversight for the administrative portion of assigned department
  • Tracking expenditures of the office and making necessary budget adjustments
  • Submitting time sheets on behalf of administrative personnel
  • Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepares contracts, purchase orders
  • Responsible for purchasing
  • Supervises the work of all administrative personnel
  • Provides work direction, planning and supervision of office staff
  • Establishes policies and procedures
  • Instructs and trains in correct methods of administrative duties
  • Checks and approves work, reviews, and evaluates employee performance
