Leads and oversees construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects across healthcare facilities. Responsible for managing internal construction staff and external contractors, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with healthcare regulations. Plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, functional and compliant care environment by coordinating closely with clinical teams, facilities leadership, and administrative partners. Success in this role requires the ability to effectively manage work in active healthcare environments with minimal disruption to patient care.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required principle competencies as listed on the job description
  • Associate’s or Vocational Degree - In construction trades OR
  • 2+ years Construction experience
  • Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years Construction management or supervisory experience
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred
  • ICRA training Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Leads and oversees daily construction and renovation activities across healthcare sites, coordinate internal & external construction assets
  • Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations including building codes, ICRA, ILSM, NFPA, and Joint Commission standards
  • Manages project schedules, sequencing, and logistics in active/occupied environments
  • Leads safety programs, enforce OSHA compliance, and conduct site safety audits
  • Coordinates with facility leadership, clinical departments, and stakeholders for project execution
  • Manages project documentation including RFIs, submittents, change orders, and reporting
  • Supports budgeting, cost tracking, and resource planning for construction activities
  • Other duties as assigned.
