About The Position
The Supervisor Engineering/Plant Ops is responsible for the supervision of the maintenance of the physical plant buildings, grounds, equipment, and utilities. This role is part of Henderson Hospital, a member of The Valley Health System, which provides acute care and specialty services in Southern Nevada. Henderson Hospital is recognized for its emergency care, surgical services, cardiovascular care, women’s health, and maternity services, and has received accolades for patient safety and as a top hospital.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of a certification course in a trade
- Two to three years of experience in plant operations/facility maintenance
- Skills in one or more of the specialized trades
- Certification in specialized trade (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
- Must have basic mathematical aptitude
Nice To Haves
- One year in a supervisory position preferred
