The Director of Facilities Operations is responsible for managing and organizing the operations of the facility including maintenance and grounds keeping while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government and regulatory agencies. This position also serves as the facility’s Safety Officer, leads the Environment of Care Committee, and serves various quality and patient safety committees as needed. In addition to facilities, the director will oversee the dietary, environmental services, and IT departments as they comprise Plant Operations. Due to satellite campuses, the director will also be expected to collaborate other healthcare and community stakeholders in the development of operations plans, evaluating and assessing for risk, and monitoring for compliance.
