About The Position
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily truss and panel manufacturing operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. This role provides leadership to plant personnel while coordinating closely with design, scheduling, and logistics.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing (truss or lumber preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of production flow, safety standards, and quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities.
- Lead, train, and evaluate plant employees.
- Ensure production targets, efficiency, and quality standards are achieved.
- Enforce safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Monitor product quality and resolve production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with design, shipping, and management teams.
- Report production metrics, labor utilization, and issues.
