About The Position

The Supvr-Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor performs all duties of a diagnostic imaging technologist / sonographer (including direct patient care) with expanded responsibilities of overseeing daily operations in multiple care environments; ensures policies and procedures are developed, utilized and maintained to adhere to organizational and regulatory requirements; assists manager in ensuring that the service functions and caregivers are in compliance with regulations / guidelines set forth by accrediting bodies, payors and professional licensing organizations; demonstrates organization and leadership of meetings, manual review and creation / oversight of posted communications. Requirements

• Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 5 years working as a diagnostic imaging technologist / sonographer
• 2 years in a leadership (i.e. Supervisor, Coordinator, or Lead) capacity in an Imaging Department

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or applicable field
