This role oversees daily operations at the Allina Health Cancer Institute- Piper Breast Center -Coon Rapids which is located in the Mercy Specialty Center.

Requirements

Associate's or Vocational degree from an accredited school of Radiology
2+ years clinical experience in Medical Imaging
0 to 2 years of leadership experience as a lead or supervisor
Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire
BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire

Nice To Haves

Mammography, MRI or CT advanced certification upon hire preferred

Responsibilities

Supervises the daily operations of the department.
Checks daily work assignment to assure preparedness.
Provides clinical and technical assistance to technologists on related equipment and procedures.
Manages daily staffing and overtime to optimize productivity.
Performs quality assessments on equipment.
Maintains preventative maintenance on imaging equipment.
Assists with supply needs and new product evaluation.
Assists in development and updating of policies and procedures.
Coordinates quality and process improvement projects.
Supervision of staff.
Performance management of employee, including performance reviews.
Hires and onboards new employees.
Trains, orients and maintains competencies for employees.
Maintains scheduling, time off approval and timecard sign-off.
Maintains optimal staffing.
Other duties as assigned.
