SummaryAPS is looking to add a Supervisor of Customer Technology Programs to our leadership team. The Supervisor of Customer Technology Programs is responsible for administration and support of customer-sited technology products, programs, and services. Leads planning and regulatory compliance of all customer facing programs. Supports the development and management of the demand side management program, customer sustainability, or related distributed energy resources products/services. Manages programs to maximize benefit to APS customers and the corporation. Reports to senior and executive management on program status and advises on strategic issues. May represent the Company with media and regulators for applicable programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering or marketing and five (5) years of related marketing, customer service, or utility experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, nine (9) years of related business, marketing, and/or technical education and related marketing, customer service, or utility operations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for administration and support of customer-sited technology products, programs, and services.
  • Collaborate with other Customer Technology staff in the development, execution, and management of the renewable energy program, demand side management program, customer sustainability issues, and related distributed energy resources products/services.
  • Select and develop a high performing team through effective coaching, performance feedback, recognition, training and developmental opportunities.
  • Manage program application processes to ensure alignment with appropriate rate structures and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of distributed energy resource trends (i.e., technical, market, regulatory and political).
  • Monitor expenditures of unit or area of responsibility ensuring prudent use of company money and resources.
  • Manage relationships with vendor partners including manufacturers and installers to ensure conformity with contracted services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key local, state, and national stakeholders in the Customer Technology and distributed energy resource arenas.
  • Develop and advocate APS positions with regard to Customer-sited technologies to protect the customers and corporation's best interests.
  • Represent the corporation on Customer-sited technology matters with elected officials, community leaders, utilities, the market and other interested stakeholders.
