About The Position

Provide day-to-day work direction and supervise to maintain steady workflow and productivity in maintenance and custodial services. Ensure that cleanliness, maintenance, and safety concerns are addressed. Inspect facilities for needed repairs and train staff on the proper utilization of various custodial machines, tools, and equipment. Supervise contractual groundskeeping, exterminating, trash removal, recycling, and snow removal. Maintain safety data reports mandated by Illinois Right to Know laws and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Remain available 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher is required.
  • Four (4) years of janitorial or maintenance, or directly related experience is required.
  • Two (2) years of prior supervisory or lead experience is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance is required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
