This role supervises the day-to-day activities of non-physician staff, ensuring a high level of productivity and continuously monitoring the functioning of the medical group, revising operational procedures as necessary. The Supervisor will oversee all functions of the medical group, including reception and scheduling, patient service areas, accounting, medical records, transcription, business information systems, and clinical areas. They will establish and update effective policies and procedures, schedule non-physician staff, and act as a liaison between non-physician staff and physicians to ensure effective patient service. The role also involves overseeing accounts payable processing, performing human resources responsibilities such as coaching, performance reviews, and staff morale, and recommending hiring, compensation, promotions, corrective actions, and terminations. The incumbent must understand and adhere to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and laws.
