About The Position

We are hiring for a Supervisor Chemical Dependency position at Providence Adolescent Residential Treatment Program in Anchorage, AK. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 10am - 6:30pm AKT, 40 hours per week, with some flexibility for afterhours and on-call availability to support the team. Applicants that meet qualifications will receive an invite with additional screening questions from our HireVue system. The role is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Providence Adolescent Residential Treatment Program. The supervisor leads the program's performance to reflect safety, quality, and productivity standards, and actively and collaboratively participates in setting standards and decision-making to meet system and program goals. The position involves overseeing safety and environment of care activities in a specialized trauma-informed environment, adopting and promoting evidence-based best practices, and coordinating the team to deliver patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and staffing care models. The supervisor exercises independent judgment with shared 24-hour accountability for clinical and operational issues of assigned area(s) and facilitates change, teamwork, constructive communication, and conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Social work, psychology, or related field
  • 3 years of experience - Candidates with a Master’s Degree must have appropriate experience providing mental health treatment in a trauma informed setting.
  • 5 years of experience - Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree must have appropriate experience providing mental health treatment in a trauma informed setting.
