About The Position

CoreCivic is seeking a Supervisor, Case Processing to supervise case processing and administrative support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) immigration mission. This role involves managing staff, overseeing caseloads, setting priorities, and ensuring timely completion of tasks related to ERO case processing, docket management, data entry, records management, and removal management assistance. The position plays a critical role in aligning administrative support functions with ICE’s core mission and operations.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social or Behavioral Science, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in criminal justice, corrections, or a related field.
  • One year of supervisory experience or one year as a Case Processing Specialist.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises case processing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices, including training, guidance, dispute resolution, corrective action, work schedules, case management assignments, and leave requests.
  • Implements and monitors quality control measures for accurate and compliant case management, maintaining compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Conducts internal case reviews and audits for accuracy and timely completion of document preparation, case management, case files, and records review in ICE systems, confirming compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Directs and coordinates diverse and complex functions in coordination with other ICE operations, facilitating support for essential operations and maintaining compliance with policies and detention standards.
  • Serves as a technical expert and liaison, developing and maintaining relationships with federal government stakeholders, including ICE headquarters, local field office staff, other DHS and DOJ officials, and third-party service providers.
  • Participates in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new staff, making recommendations on personnel matters.
  • Motivates and encourages staff, completes staff evaluations, and reviews contributor feedback.
  • Facilitates team meetings, case strategy sessions, and other collaborative activities, maintaining clear communication with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Communicates effectively and coherently with administration, staff, detainees, federal officials, and the general public, providing information, instructions, mediating disputes, advising of rights and processes, and providing testimony.
  • Domestic U. S. travel may be required.
