About The Position

Under limited supervision, performs administrative work in assisting with the activities of the Community Action Agency. Work involves assuring the effectiveness of all programs administered by the Agency with regard to residents’ participation, quality of service, reporting compliance, and field monitoring; receiving daily logs; performing calculations and report filing; requesting monthly changes; preparing requisitions; maintaining preventive maintenance; keeping accurate record on all vehicles; coordinating programs such as Weatherization, Transportation, Food Distribution, Utility, Payroll, fieldwork, etc.; and assisting with supervision and other duties associated with the daily operation of Agency.

Requirements

  • Requires a vocational school diploma supplemented by three to four years of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Must possess a valid Louisiana driver’s license with satisfactory records.
  • Satisfactory physical condition, including back, vision and hearing.
  • Must be honest and exhibit good moral/ethical behavior.
  • All resume’s submitted must include MONTH AND YEAR of work history and dates of education in order to be considered.
