Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding media account projects.
  • Experience utilizing multiple media channels.
  • Thorough understanding of advanced analytics and performance media.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics, and concepts.
  • Prior experience in a client contact and leadership role.
  • Strong mentorship experience in terms of developing media professionals, ability to manage a small team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and sell through ideas both internally and to clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and media research/reporting resources.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the team in translating client goals into strategic media solutions that grow client brands and ensure strategic consistency across plan development and implementation.
  • Supervise the implementation and development of media briefs, building strategic & tactical recommendations.
  • Be responsible and accountable for final reporting analysis of campaigns alongside other internal teams, ensuring data accuracy and presenting findings to clients.
  • Manage the progress of reporting deliverables, provide input, and ensure recommended optimizations are applied to future campaigns.
  • Understand how attribution models function and their applications/benefits.
  • Lead research initiatives, identifying tools and resources for consumer insight gathering and strategic planning.
  • Anticipate client requests, troubleshoot, and problem-solve with internal teams to proactively provide solutions.
  • Lead performance calls and statuses, providing a point of view to clients.
  • Engage with investment teams to ensure successful campaign execution and manage performance within flight.
  • Work closely with activation teams to bring media plan recommendations to life and issue plan deliverables to clients.
  • Partner with Associate Director & Director to understand and deliver on clients’ holistic business needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with core clients and industry partners as a Horizon Next contact.
  • Serve as a conduit for strategic leadership from senior to junior teams.
  • Interview to fill junior team member openings.
  • Oversee junior team members' engagement and interactions with other Horizon Next departments (e.g., Investment, Traffic, Operations).
  • Understand and form strategic alignment across all channels and teams for an integrated approach.
  • Promote the work of junior and senior team members and set a positive team environment.
  • Guide the team in setting goals and professional development timelines, ensuring challenging, level-appropriate projects and learning opportunities.
  • Manage junior team performance through coaching, identifying training needs, setting career development goals, and ensuring actions are taken.
  • Participate in the interview process for junior team members.
