About The Position

Pasta & Co is looking for a full-time Supervisor (BOH). This position has a starting hourly rate of $23.50, plus expected average tips of $8-$10 per hour ($31.50-$33.50 average total per hour). The Supervisor (BOH) is responsible for ensuring that critical operational systems, processes, and duties in the kitchen are maintained at a high level. Kitchen Lead Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that menu execution, cleanliness and food safety standards, and overall food quality are outstanding. The Supervisor (BOH) will serve as the kitchen point person for the Store Manager, communicating Pasta & Co.’s goals and priorities to the kitchen staff as well as communicating kitchen challenges and opportunities to the Store Manager.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen or deli as a production cook
  • Ability to multitask and keep composure in fast paced environment.
  • Good organizational skills, able to manage complex processes.
  • Solution oriented, experience with problem solving.
  • Able to effectively communicate with Team Members, Managers, and Vendors.
  • Proven track record of maintaining food safety standards
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the BOH Team’s successful and efficient execution of day to day operations.
  • Role Models a calm, positive, solution-oriented approach to opportunities.
  • Responsible for all food ordering in the kitchen, maintaining proper ordering tools, par levels and ingredient standards.
  • Responsible for the proper prep levels in the kitchen, maintain an accurate, well organized, and well executed prep list.
  • Responsible for all Food Safety and Cleanliness tools being completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Delivers outstanding Food Quality results by ensuring proper recipe adherence.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all kitchen Team Members are properly trained on proper recipe execution and standards.
  • Partners with Sugar Mountain Culinary Director on training and execution of seasonal menu changes.
