About The Position

As our Supervisor of Behavioral Therapy, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care, fostering healing and well-being. Every day, you'll apply exceptional skills in assessment, treatment planning, group, individual, and family therapy, plus discharge planning. You'll also be a collaborative member of our multidisciplinary team, actively participating in the Unit Community Relations Program. To be successful, you'll combine strong clinical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills, a compassionate approach, and effective teamwork, driving positive patient outcomes and community engagement.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Master's program
• Independent Mental Health Practitioner/Counselor license: NE (IMHP:NE)
• Basic Life Support - CPR

• 1-3 years of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Plans individualized age appropriate patient care through an interdisciplinary team approach and through interdisciplinary patient care conferences, ongoing patient assessments, re-evaluation of patient strengths and needs.
• Utilizes professional skills and judgment in delegating and coordinating patient care; includes appropriate resources to manage patient care.
• Identifies patient/family/significant other learning needs.
• Address patient and family concerns in a compassionate, problem solving manner to support patient engagement.
• Demonstrates effective management of rapidly changing situations and demonstrates the ability to perform in an accurate and precise manner in crisis and emergency situations.
• Complies with internal and external regulations, policies and procedures and participates in development of and supports regulatory action plan compliance with their teams in collaboration with the Manager.
• This includes completion/delegation and review of chart audits.
• Participates in Environment of care rounding and monitors action plan follow up as identified and reports status to Director.
