About The Position

The Supervisor-Athletic Trainers is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations while addressing clinical issues, advancing clinical practice guideline development, enhancing clinical efficiencies, performance management, and staff development. This role also involves performing other professional duties associated with the care of patients, developing therapy program services, and engaging and developing interdisciplinary teams. The supervisor is responsible for organizing the administrative and clinical aspects of athletic trainer services in the assigned departments/locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice
  • 3 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Athletic Trainer
  • 1 year of progressive leadership experience
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
