Lilly is entering an exciting period of growth and is committed to delivering innovative medicines to patients worldwide. The company is investing over $1 Billion to build a new, inspiring, environmentally conscious, and highly automated campus in Concord, North Carolina. This new campus will utilize the latest technology to increase capacity in parenteral (injectable) medications, device assembly, and packaging operations. This is a unique opportunity to build and operate a new site, influencing team culture and operational methods from the ground up. During the project phase, the Operations Supervisor (Filling) will support start-up activities for the Parenteral (PAR) area, which includes product formulation, aseptic isolator barrier filling, and visual inspection. Activities will involve coordinating start-up support for the team to train on equipment, develop technical proficiency, foster a diverse and inclusive culture, and lead operational readiness. This role requires domestic travel (2-4 week trips and/or 3-12 month short-term assignments) and potential international travel to collaborate with existing sites. Once the facility is operational, the Supervisor will lead the team operating the PAR departments, developing team culture and technical expertise, ensuring adequate staffing with trained and qualified employees, and strictly adhering to safety and quality procedures. Direct reports include line leaders and operators. This role offers significant opportunities for growth into future leadership and technical positions.
