About The Position

The purpose of the Supervisor, Airport Operations Concierge (AOC Sup) is to lead a cross-trained team responsible for delivering an unparalleled experience across both Above Wing and Below Wing operations. The AOC Sup enables crewmembers to provide seamless, safe, and consistent service through strong leadership, balanced accountability, and a supportive work culture that embodies JSX’s commitment to safety, hospitality, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of Airport Operations experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of customer-facing experience delivering service excellence.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for operating ground support equipment.
  • Maintains a calm, professional, and solution-oriented approach under pressure.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment rooted in safety and JSX values.
  • Promotes a culture of teamwork, inclusion, and accountability.
  • Balances hospitality and operational excellence with efficiency and consistency.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Company tools.
  • Solid understanding of airport operations, safety procedures, and service recovery.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, lifting, and prolonged standing.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Participate in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with DOT and FAA guidelines.
  • In compliance with federal aviation security requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture by balancing accountability with recognition, ensuring team morale and engagement remain high.
  • Maintain current knowledge of systems, products, policies, and regulations to guide and support crewmembers in both Above Wing and Below Wing functions.
  • Approve and verify timecards for accuracy and compliance with payroll deadlines.
  • Oversee daily coverage to ensure adequate staffing and balanced workload across all operational areas.
  • Ensure crewmembers have the tools, training, and resources necessary to perform their duties effectively and safely.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to policies, procedures, and safety standards, addressing gaps proactively.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide regular coaching, feedback, and development to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage inventory and supply levels to support both customer service and ramp operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, Catering, Flight Operations) to ensure coordinated, on-time performance.
  • Plan and oversee ramp operations for assigned shifts, including aircraft parking, staffing resources, and turnaround execution.
