About The Position

MOOD is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist, licensed in Washington, for a part-time role. This position involves supervising Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) who provide telemedicine care to adult patients managing anti-depressant and anti-anxiety medications. The role offers significant flexibility, allowing the psychiatrist to determine their own hours and shift times. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive in providing feedback, and eager to grow with the company.

Requirements

• Active and good standing medical license in Washington.
• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• Medical Doctorate from an accredited medical school.
• Previous experience supervising Nurse Practitioners in clinical settings.
• 5+ years of direct care experience (exclusive of orientation/training).
• Comfortable using computers and video-conferencing software.
• Dedicated to providing the best patient care possible.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Additional medical licenses.
• Previous telemedicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nurse Practitioners treating clients for anxiety and depression in compliance with state regulations.
• Conduct chart reviews for multiple Nurse Practitioners.
• Be available to Nurse Practitioners to answer questions, provide clinical clarifications, and escalate issues to medical leadership.
