Position Overview: Virtual Supervising Psychiatrist providing supervisory oversight to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in outpatient clinic setting for Ascends service lines and any additional service lines as determined.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted California MD or DO license in good standing
  • Must be board-certified
  • Ability to provide supervision remotely

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in general psychiatry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervisory oversight for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring quality of care and adherence to established treatment protocols and state regulations for children, adolescents, and adult patients
  • Available for case reviews as necessary
  • Available to meet with the team once per month
