About The Position

Oneida Health is seeking a Part-time RN Nursing Supervisor (2 twelve hour shifts) to provide administrative supervision at its Hospital. This role entails planning, directing, and supervising patient care to ensure quality and compassionate treatment. The Nursing Supervisor oversees RNs, LPNs, and support nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment and demonstrating strong leadership qualities. The ideal candidate will exhibit keen attention to detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Associate of Nursing (Required)
• New York RN (Required)
• Nursing: 1 year (Required)
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, and reach.
• Moderate lifting: 15-44 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s of Nursing (Preferred)
• BLS (Preferred)
• Supervisory experience in an acute care facility: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative supervision and direction in patient care settings, ensuring quality care delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of RNs, LPNs, and support nursing staff to maintain optimal patient care standards.
• Foster a collaborative environment among the care team to promote effective communication and teamwork.
• Serve as a point of contact for clinical, administrative, human resources, and operational issues, addressing concerns and facilitating resolutions.
• Demonstrate strong leadership in directing and coordinating administrative and operational activities related to patient care.
• Ensure continuous process improvement initiatives are implemented to enhance patient care outcomes and operational efficiency.
