About The Position

As the Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist, you will be responsible for leading a team of Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians to ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications. You will ensure consistency in execution across the team by holding team members accountable for following established policies and provide daily oversight to associates. This role operates within a state-of-the-art Pharmacy dispensing center, working with detailed, prescribed guidelines and procedures. The Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques, and a review process before shipping medications to patients. Decisions are typically related to schedule, plans, and daily operations. You will use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems and collaborate with management and top professionals/specialists in the selection of methods, techniques, and data analytical approaches. You will report to the Manager, Mail Order Pharmacy Distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Active Pharmacist license from the Florida Board of Pharmacy
  • Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
  • Minimum of one-year of leadership experience (Supervisor, Manager or any leadership position with direct reports)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven organizational, problem solving and effective time management skills
  • Must be able to work onsite at 11010 Florida Crown Dr, Suite 200, Orlando, FL 32824 Monday- Friday with shifts to be determined
