The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing, managing and supervising the lead hand and process operators on their shifts to achieve crushing, refining, product testing, sanitation and rail yard goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills (bilingual French/English is an asset).
• Honest and works with integrity.
• Ability to work on 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience at a supervisory level

Responsibilities

• Organize, supervise, train and schedule work of the lead hand and process operators.
• Direct the lead hand and process operators on night shifts to accomplish rail yard movements and product loading.
• Direct the lead hand and process operators in completing the sanitation tasks assigned for each shift.
• Supervise the workload of the lead hand and process operators ensuring safety standards, performance measures and customer specifications are met.
• Responsible for shift, oil and yield, operation, and daily analysis reports ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of each.
• Communicate with other departments to address issues and maintain/elevate standards of safety, quality and productivity.
• Actively engage the lead hand and process operators in activities to meet targets for safety, yield, and quality in production.
