About The Position

Haleon is a manufacturing site for liquid, solid, and semi-solid health products, with complex regulatory factors, technical processes, and high-risk activities. Haleon is currently looking for a DAY Manufacturing Supervisor to join the Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. As the DAY Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities and your team's performance to achieve safety, quality, execution, cost, and people objectives. You will ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements, and Haleon's operational standards, while ensuring the efficient execution of the production plan in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Fluency in French is required for this position to ensure effective communication and compliance with our operational and regulatory standards.
University, college, or technical diploma in a scientific, manufacturing, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or regulated environment.
Excellent knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality compliance requirements.
Experience in team supervision in an operational environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, solve complex problems, and make quick decisions.
Strong communication, coaching, and employee development skills.
Bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written.
Availability to work different shifts as needed, including evenings, nights, or weekends.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, or highly regulated industry.
Experience with quality investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change management.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
Experience in managing operational performance indicators (KPIs).
Ability to lead process improvement and organizational transformation projects.
Experience working in a 24/7 production environment.
Ability to influence, mobilize, and develop multidisciplinary teams.
Bilingualism required - Due to the nature of the job duties, candidates must be bilingual in French and English (written/spoken) to be considered, as in their role, the incumbent must work closely with external/internal stakeholders in other provinces/countries who do not speak French.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe working environment and promote best practices in health and safety.
Participate in incident investigations, risk analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with GMP, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Supervise investigations related to deviations, changes, and quality audits.
Ensure the training and qualification of employees for their assigned tasks.
Plan and coordinate the execution of the production program to achieve operational objectives.
Collaborate with support teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
Manage resources, expenses, and performance indicators to optimize team efficiency.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Coach, develop, and mobilize a team of 15 to 25 employees in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Foster a positive work climate while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Act as a change agent during transformations and operational improvement initiatives.
