Supervisors work closely with store management, Operations teams, and external partners to gain the knowledge and support needed to meet business needs and achieve good results.

Requirements

Willingness to work a variable schedule; primarily nights during the week.
Be in good physical shape.
Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and be skilled in customer service.
Possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to lift a load weighing up to 23 kg (50 lb), alone or with the help of a colleague.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience as a supervisor or team leader is an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead associates and encourage them to build relationships with customers and colleagues to provide exceptional customer service and generate gross sales while having excellent knowledge of merchandising and products.
Ensure sufficient staffing in the department or service to meet business needs.
Manage associate performance by offering development opportunities, communicating responsibilities and goals, recognizing and rewarding their efforts, and providing continuous feedback.
Review numerous reports including sales reports, and collaborate with the assistant manager to make recommendations to improve inventory, top-shelf organization, and related product merchandising to drive sales.
