Requirements
- Willingness to work a variable schedule; days, evenings, and every other weekend.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and customer service aptitude.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb), alone or with the help of a colleague.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience as a supervisor or team leader is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Direct associates and encourage them to build relationships with customers and colleagues to provide exceptional customer service and generate gross sales while having excellent knowledge of merchandising and products.
- Ensure adequate staffing within the department or service to meet business needs.
- Manage associate performance by offering development opportunities, communicating responsibilities and objectives, recognizing and rewarding their efforts, and providing continuous feedback.
- Review numerous reports, including sales reports, and collaborate with the assistant manager to make recommendations to improve inventory, top-shelf organization, and related product merchandising to stimulate sales.
- Ensure stock availability at all times and compliance with top-shelf organization plans.
