About The Position

Haleon is a manufacturing site for liquid, solid, and semi-solid health products, with complex regulatory factors, technical processes, and high-risk activities. Haleon is currently looking for a NIGHT Production/Manufacturing Supervisor to join the Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. The manufacturing supervisor at Haleon is responsible for leading and coordinating production activities in the pharmaceutical field, to ensure efficient operations that comply with quality standards. Their main objective is to ensure that pharmaceutical manufacturing processes run smoothly, production targets are met, and safety and quality standards are rigorously adhered to. They also play a crucial role in managing and developing the production team, ensuring team members are motivated, trained, and supported to excel in their roles. In summary, the objective of the manufacturing supervisor position in the pharmaceutical field at Haleon is to ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe production, while fostering a positive and productive work environment for the team.

Requirements

  • Fluency in French is required
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in pharma or food
  • Bachelor's degree in Science (mandatory)
  • Experience managing a large team
  • Resourcefulness, leadership, and good communication in French
  • Knowledge of GMP
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical/food/manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in the Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated competence in various continuous improvement techniques

Responsibilities

  • Perform activities to support operations
  • Manage employees (tours, coaching, discipline, evaluation, schedule management, tasks, payroll...)
  • Know and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standards for quality, health, and safety
  • Analyze and monitor quality and OHS issues
  • Ensure employees have the necessary tools, information, and training to perform their work
  • Participate in process improvement
  • Monitor documentation (logbook...)
  • Assist in the hiring process (interviews)
