About The Position

JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a Supervised Visitation Monitor in Somerset County, PA. As a Supervised Visitation Monitor, you will be responsible for supervising visitation sessions between parents and children. You will make sure that the visits are conducted in a safe manner and that the best interests of the child remain the top priority. You will be expected to be alert and attentive during the visit, and to intervene if necessary. Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a vehicle.
  • Pass current, applicable clearances.
  • Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise visitation sessions between parents and children.
  • Ensure visits are conducted in a safe manner.
  • Prioritize the best interests of the child.
  • Be alert and attentive during visits and intervene if necessary.
  • Transport clients to authorized destinations utilizing personal vehicles.
  • Retrieve and deliver standardized forms and documents when needed.
  • Assist clients with scheduling appointments.
  • Assist Caseworkers in observing and reporting significant behavior and conversation.
  • Communicate and maintain relationships with county workers, families, and community providers.
  • Perform related program and clerical tasks, as directed by proper authority.
  • Submit accurate, required notes within 24 hours of service and complete required reports within assigned time frames.
  • Administer Drug Testing following the appropriate county protocol as applicable.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
