About The Position

Supervised BCBA will manage a caseload of clients, providing individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (licensed in state of Arizona). Responsibilities include developing and monitoring treatment and behavior support plans, supporting staff training and supervision, and participating in regular supervision sessions to enhance therapeutic skills. The Supervised BCBA will also facilitate caregiver meetings, assist in identifying additional support needs for clients and families, engage in professional development activities, and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and client progress. The Supervised BCBA will work directly and indirectly, using ABA best practices for our clients, families, and staff.

Requirements

Licensed Behavior Analyst (licensed in state of Arizona) supervision.
ABA best practices.
Timely submissions with all required clinical documentation per timelines determined by individual payors and CCABA policies.
Development and ongoing monitoring of Individual Treatment Plans including add updated information such as new insurance, change of care or medication or behavior change.
Ensuring compliance with all client’s insurance-related requirements, complete, on-time, proper storage and labeling of clinical notes for each client interaction.
Facilitate regular family/caregiver meetings and trainings.
Effective and respectful communication with supervisors, supervisees, clinical team, members from other departments, families, and outside agencies.
Review schedule and adjust for any time out of therapy for make-up days or increase or decrease of necessary treatment hours.
Complete, on-time, proper storage and labeling of required documents – initial and ongoing treatment plans, behavior plan, FBA, assessments, transition/discharge plan (if applicable), discharge letter (if applicable), paper data (if applicable) – for internal and external audits.
Maintaining HIPAA and best practices as determined via qualitative and compliance reviews.
Keep licensure, certification and credentialing current.
Initial and ongoing assessment and evaluation of skills and needs for each client.
Regular staff training and supervision, using monthly integrity treatment checks and contextual feedback for staff enhancement and client progress.
Identifying clients and families in need of additional supports, such as families of clients with high risk behavior, social skills groups, family support groups, and providing/referring families for all indicated supports.
Ensure productivity and efficiency of the center in the office.
Maintain the confidentiality of all individual information.
Treat all individuals fairly, and with kindness, dignity, and respect as stated in Circle City ABA policies.
Report all allegations of physical, verbal, mental, or sexual abuse to include involuntary seclusion, neglect or misappropriation of the individual’s belongings or money.
Honor refusal of treatment request. Report such requests to the individual’s team.
