About The Position
Price Chopper/Market 32 Supermarkets is accepting applications for future part-time openings across various departments. While most hiring occurs in the front end and night crew, individuals with previous experience may be hired into other departments. The company has a history of internal promotion, meaning a part-time position can lead to a long-term career for motivated individuals. Applicants can specify up to three departments of interest or select "any department." Applications are reviewed as hiring needs arise, and selected candidates will be contacted for an interview via phone or email. Unselected candidates will be notified via email.
Requirements

- Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in specific departments (e.g., Bakery, Pharmacy, Floral, Deli/Food Service, General Merchandise, Grocery, Meat, Produce, Seafood).
Responsibilities
- Provide Six-Star Service at the Front-End.
- Prepare and sell homemade artisan breads in the Bakery department.
- Fill prescriptions, offer health counseling, and provide efficient service in the Pharmacy department (for Registered Pharmacists or Pharmacy students).
- Brighten lives with flowers, discuss plants, and utilize a green thumb in the Floral department.
- Slice, dice, and prepare high-quality deli meats, salads, and sandwiches in the Deli/Food Service department.
- Stock and merchandise a variety of non-food items, including seasonal products, in the General Merchandise department.
- Stock, merchandise, and create displays for packaged foods and staples in the Grocery department.
- Provide high-quality fresh meat cuts to families in the Meat department.
- Educate guests on the benefits of produce-rich diets and handle a variety of fruits and vegetables in the Produce department.
- Provide fresh seafood from local fishermen and around the world, and assist guests in preparing seafood meals in the Seafood department.
