About The Position

Price Chopper/Market 32 Supermarkets is accepting applications for future part-time openings across various departments. While most hiring occurs in the front end and night crew, individuals with previous experience may be hired into other departments. The company has a history of promoting from within, and part-time positions can lead to long-term careers for motivated individuals. Applicants can specify up to three departments of interest or select "any department." Applications are reviewed as hiring needs arise, and selected candidates will be contacted for an interview via phone or email. Unselected candidates will be notified via email.

Requirements

• Must be reliable and honest.

• Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in specific departments.
• Drive, motivation, and desire to help customers.
• Registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy student (for Pharmacy department).

Responsibilities

• Provide Six-Star Service in the Front-End department.
• Prepare and sell homemade artisan breads in the Bakery department.
• Fill prescriptions, offer health counseling, and provide friendly service in the Pharmacy department (for Registered Pharmacists or Pharmacy students).
• Create floral arrangements, advise customers on plants, and manage floral orders in the Floral department.
• Slice meats, prepare salads, and make sandwiches in the Deli/Food Service department.
• Stock and merchandise general merchandise, including first aid and seasonal products.
• Stock, merchandise, and create displays for packaged foods in the Grocery department.
• Provide high-quality fresh meat to customers in the Meat department.
• Educate customers on the benefits of produce-rich diets and manage a variety of fruits and vegetables in the Produce department.
• Provide fresh seafood, assist customers with purchasing and preparation, and manage seafood inventory in the Seafood department.
