About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to work on jobs in the North County San Diego area and throughout California, who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of every phase of the project. You’ll lead and supervise all aspects of assigned Retail Big Box projects from mobilization through punch list and demobilization — ensuring safety, quality, and clear communication every step of the way.

Requirements

• 6+ years of construction experience in a supervisory role
• Strong working knowledge of all trades and the ability to read/interpret plans and specifications
• OSHA 30-hour certification (or equivalent)
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Advanced proficiency in MS Project or a similar scheduling tool
• Beginner to intermediate experience with Procore or comparable platforms
• Strong understanding of digital documents, images, and related tools

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a foreman or journeyman preferred
• Retail project experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and ensure all work is performed safely
• Coordinate scheduling, subcontractor activities, and workflow on site
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and team members
• Ensure project quality standards are met from start to finish
• Manage cost control for general conditions
• Prepare and maintain required project documentation
• Lead fast-paced projects operating six days a week with hard completion deadlines
