About The Position

Miles McClellan is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations and deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. You’ll collaborate with project teams and partners to drive successful project execution from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction management or field supervision experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
  • Proficiency with construction technology (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Outlook).
  • Ability to meet physical jobsite demands, including lifting up to 25 lbs, climbing, and extended standing or walking, reaching, handling, and manipulating objects; lifting and carrying materials up to 25 pounds; climbing ladders or scaffolds; stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; and seeing clearly with or without correction.

  • OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily onsite activities, including scheduling, materials, and field staff.
  • Manage and supervise subcontractors and trade partners throughout the project.
  • Interpret drawings and provide technical guidance on construction methods and execution.
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and deliveries to maintain project flow.
  • Serve as the onsite safety leader, promoting safe work practices and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, track project progress, and document extra work as needed.
  • Partner with project management to support project procedures, scheduling, and overall execution.
  • Monitor productivity, control costs, and ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Identify issues, enforce jobsite standards, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
