About The Position
FLINT is seeking a Superintendent with industrial experience managing construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects for a position in Conklin, Alberta. In this position, you will enjoy a 7 days in & 7 days out schedule, 12-hour workdays, camp accommodations, travel pay, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably in industrial maintenance.
- Valid Journeyperson certificate.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: CSTS-2020, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, WHMIS
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Must have own reliable transportation to site.
- Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision to multiple crews and services.
- Prepare, monitor, and drive project schedule with the operations team to ensure budget and timelines are met.
- Estimate and manage project labour and material requirements.
- Establish, implement, and oversee site safety plans and quality control measures.
- Manage resources to maintain and enhance critical equipment performance.
