The Superintendent, or in conjunction with a Senior Superintendent, will be responsible for the overall onsite management of the project from start to finish. This includes planning, organizing, and controlling field operations. The role ensures the timely and accurate completion of work, focusing on detail, quality control, and a proactive attitude. Key duties involve schedule updates (CPM, 2-week look ahead), safety toolbox talks (if no dedicated coordinator), progress documentation, RFI generation, daily diary maintenance, creative problem-solving, managing punch lists and closeout, ensuring accurate timecards, managing trade foremen (enforcing safety, quality, and documentation), assisting with new employee acquisition and training, understanding subcontractor scopes, ensuring LEED requirements are met, managing mobilization, attending pre-installation and coordination meetings, communicating project updates, participating in owner meetings, maintaining jobsite security and E&S measures, understanding OSHA procedures for accident reporting and investigation, maintaining a safe and organized job site, scheduling field inspections, and overseeing project commissioning and closeout.
