Phoenix Industrial is currently looking for a Superintendent for upcoming projects in Alberta! We are an Alberta based, family-owned industrial contractor with over 25 years of successful industrial construction experience. Requirements

Proven experience in leading successful project teams with 5-10 years of previous experience in supervisory/management role in the industrial construction or the oil & gas industry
Combination of work experience in a similar role and industry related trade certification / education
Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Successful completion of background check and/or additional assessments
Valid Drivers License
Valid Drivers Abstract
Leadership for Safety Excellence Certificate
Standard First Aid
Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
WHMIS 2015
H2S Alive Certification (Energy Safety Certification preferred)

Responsibilities

Strategically oversee, monitor, and manage of a project
Pivotal in planning, organizing, and controlling a project to meet and exceed expectations
Ensuring utilization and compliance of corporate policies and procedures
Prioritization of business needs, while keeping projects aligned with organizations strategy and portfolio direction
Provide guidance to project staff, responsible for the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations by influencing, developing, and implementing field project plans and schedule
Effectively communicate all issues, resolve conflicts and removing obstacles to progress
Able to liaise between Clients and Company Ownership
Invested in a safety-oriented work environment
